Hi, I’m Lucy — Mum, Chronic illness overcomer, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner
I help people with chronic health conditions and autoimmunity find clarity, energy, and confidence through a whole-body approach to nutrition. No fads. No extremes. Just grounded, bioindividual strategies that make sense, for real life and real bodies.
About Lucy
In my early twenties, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and psoriatic arthritis. At one point, I couldn’t get in or out of my car without joint pain, and every meal was followed by abdominal pain. I was exhausted, inflamed, and felt betrayed by my own body.
Conventional medicine offered little beyond symptom management, so I began searching for a deeper understanding.
Bit by bit, I changed how I ate, rested, and lived. I learned to support my body instead of fighting against it. And slowly, it began to heal.
Today, I’m symptom-free, medication-free, and living proof that our bodies have an incredible ability to repair when given the right conditions. That experience is what led me to train as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, so I can help others find the same clarity, confidence, and lasting wellness.
Before retraining, I worked as an ecologist — drawn to the interconnectedness of nature and how every organism plays its part in balance and adaptation. That background shapes the way I see the human body: as a beautifully complex system designed to thrive when its environment supports it.
I combine that perspective with nutritional science to uncover root causes and help my clients restore balance in a sustainable way.
My Approach
I trained with the Nutritional Therapy Association, where I learned how to support the body by restoring the key foundations of health. My approach blends evidence-based nutrition with ancestral wisdom, grounded in the belief that we are not broken, just out of sync with the world around us.
A Nutrient-Dense, Ancestral Diet
Food that nourishes deeply and honours how we’re built, not just what’s trending.
Blood Sugar Balance
No more energy crashes, brain fog, or uncontrollable cravings. Just steady, grounded fuel.
Restoring Digestive Function
You’re not just what you eat, you’re what your body can absorb and use.
Nervous System Support
Healing doesn’t happen in fight-or-flight. We work to create the conditions your body needs to repair.
Personalised, Root-Cause Strategy
No templates or generic meal plans. You’re unique, and your plan should be, too.
I work with people who are tired of feeling unwell, overwhelmed, and brushed off. Especially when it comes to gut issues, hormone chaos, and autoimmune symptoms. Together, we uncover what’s really going on and build a personalised, root-cause approach that supports your body the way nature intended.
You can work with me through:
The 12-Week Functional Nutrition Programme — for those ready to uncover the root causes of their symptoms, rebuild energy, and feel well again.
Pregnancy & Postpartum Support — for women who want to feel nourished, calm, and confident through pregnancy, recovery, and the early seasons of motherhood.
My approach blends functional nutrition, lifestyle shifts, and a deep respect for the body’s innate wisdom — helping you move from merely coping to truly thriving.
How I Can Help You
Why I Support Mothers
When I became pregnant, I’d already spent years rebuilding my health after chronic illness. My Crohn’s and psoriatic arthritis were in remission, my energy was stable, and I finally felt strong and grounded in my body again. But despite all that, I was terrified.
Everyone warned me about the exhaustion, the tears, the sense of losing yourself.
“You think you’re tired now? Just you wait.”
Having already experienced what it was like to feel completely out of control of my body — exhausted, foggy, and anxious — I didn’t want that version of me to shape the kind of mum I would be. I didn’t want to just get through postpartum. I wanted to feel steady, present, and able to soak up those first precious months without living in a constant haze of overwhelm.
Pregnancy brought new challenges — a fresh set of hormonal shifts and physical changes that tested everything I’d learned. But by then, I was deep into my Nutritional Therapy training with the Nutritional Therapy Association, and I understood how to support my body through food, rest, and rhythm.
And it changed everything.
Instead of the fraught, depleted postpartum experience I’d been warned about, I had the energy to get outside for walks, the calm to enjoy the stillness of being nap-trapped, and the confidence to trust my body’s signals.
That experience became the foundation for my Pregnancy & Postpartum Support programme — created to help women feel nourished, balanced, and confident through every stage of motherhood. Because the exhaustion, brain fog, and emotional rollercoaster that so many women accept as “normal” aren’t inevitable — they’re signs your body needs support, not more pressure.
When you know how to prepare, nourish, and restore your body properly, motherhood feels lighter. You feel like you.
